The laboratory is a part of Prague University of Economics and Business. The main preoccupation is the impact of Big Data & AI on our society. The research focuses on both the benefits and the risks of the technology, and how to ethically incorporate it into the workflow of companies, institutions, and individuals. The laboratory is led by our founder, Richard A. Novák.
In the spring of 2021, OmniCrane was selected for the competition of the most innovative businesses in Czechia. One of the merits was the potential for global impact. Our product was successful, we gained financial support from CzechInvest, and went through the seven-month development program CzechStarter aimed at nurturing innovative companies.
